Mortgage express 130% confident in the property market

The loan, which has been piloted for two years in Northern Ireland, has a rate of 6.49 per cent over nearly three years.  That is nearly two percentage points higher than the lowest rates available.  Mortgage Express said it would not consider applicants who did not meet criteria.  Bradford & Bingley said: "We ran an expensive two-year pilot on this product and found that there was a market for it.  We always act as a responsible lender."
