Average Property Tops £300,000 - The Times November 05

The average house price in London topped £300,000 in the third quarter, the Land Registry said, as it announced the dtrongest growth in prices in a year.

Property prices in the capital rose by 4.5 per cent in the year to September, the Land Registry reported, to reach an average of £300,329.

Nationally, the market picked up by 5.2 per cent in the third quarter.
