Persimmon Builds On Strong Year - Financial Times February 06
Persimmon has already sold 42 per cent of its expected volumes for this year, reaping £1.25bn for the UK's leading housebuilder.
A more active housing market has also allowed Persimmon to drop some sales incentives. The average selling price is £178,500, compared with £171,067 last year.
The Westbury integration has given Persimmon the biggest landbank in the sector, amounting to 78,000 plots and a land supply of more than 4.5 years.
