Cheap Land Builds Appetite Of Developers - The Financial Times July 09
Housing developers are gearing up for a round of building activity following an extremely subdued 18 months, as they aim to take advantage of rock-bottom land values and a severe shortgage of property.
Research from Knight Frank, the estate agent, shows that a number of developers are starting to acquire new sites, or are returning to schemes they vacated last year, with a view to increasing the number of new homes in under-supplied parts of the country.
