House Cost Rise Forecast Upped - The Argus Lite May 06

Renewed confidence in the housing market is set to boost property prices by six per cent this year, an economics consultancy said today.

The centre for research said it had revised up its forecast for UK house price growth during 2006 from just 4.4 per cent in January following stronger than expected confidence in the market and sustained growth in the financial markets.
