Annual Pace Of Property Increases - Evening Standard June 06

The annual pace of increase in UK house prices accelerated sharply in April, to 5.1 per cent, from 3.2 per cent in March, according to figures from the Department for Communities and Local Government.

House prices rose 1 per cent month on month in April, so that the jump in the annual increase was driven by 0.8 per cent fall a year earlier.
