Home sales soar by 8% This Month - Daily Mail June 06

House prices rose by 0.6 per cent this month as the property market remained buoyant, figures showed yesterday.

The cost of a home in England and Wales has increased by 2.9 per cent so far this year, according to housing website Hometrack. At the same time, the number of homes sold soared by eight per cent during the month, more than double the 3.3 per cent rise seen during May.
