House Prices Still Rising - The Daily Mail Aug 06

House prices rose in july by 0.2 per cent, reviving from the 1.2 per cent decline in june, according to the last snapshot from Halifax, the country's biggest mortgage lender.

The small gain left annual house price inflation at 9.4 per cent for the three months to June. Halifax raised its forecast for house price gains over 2006 from 3 per cent to 5 per cent.
