Housing Slowdown – The times June 2005

The risk of a housing-market crash is shrinking as prices remain on track for a controlled slowdown. House prices rose 0.3% in May, according to the Nationwide. Annual house-price inflation fell from 7% in April to 5.5% last month, the slowest rate of growth since August 1996.
