Record Number of Tenants looking - The Negotiator June 2005

A record number of tenants are looking for properties despite rising rents, the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) has reported.

In its second quarter survey, 37 per cent of ARLA member offices reported more tenants than properties available.

The figure is a new record since the question of balance in supply and demand was first asked in ARLA's survey three years ago.
